Description
This door saw it all, it survived Hitler and much more. I am posting this to honor those who fought so bravely.
My dad was one of those who cared that much. He joined before he was legally old enough, and saw more battle than anyone should have to see.
His friends died, his body was filled with shrapnel, his youthful mind, became grown past his years. The battlefield was not for the faint of heart.
Thank you dad. This is for you!

A beauty and lucky to have survived since Hitler also destroyed so much architectural sites. Humanity triumphed and this lovely old building is a testament to that fact. Glad you photographed it, and so beautifully.
